Just a quickie, was wondering why Hakkinen's name is spelt differently on the in-car shot compared with everywhere else? Seeya at Brands! IM.

Maybe it is some sort of German/finnish joke. Us Brits don't pick up on that stuff with our vastly inferior sense of humour.

A can't be an german joke, because i don't understand the joke. Hokkinen isn't a real word in Germany, so it must be a finish joke or an typing error.

Hi all, It's actually "Häkkinen" (pronounced Haekkinen) and not Hakkinen but they always leave out the dots (like Ekström = Ekstrom on the car, but really pronounced Ekstroem)... Hokkinen though is way off. Don't know any Finnish so I can't tell if it's a Finnish joke...

My friend lives on Mika Häkkinen Square in Vaanta, Helsinki, so I would say that is the correct way to spell it.

I like to hear the perceptions of the German fans. Hey Fabian mate, pop in from time to time and tell us your opinions.

Actually, we're not international. We're a European forum, I don't think we have forumers outside Europe? I also like to hear what our German forumers have got to say, and any other nationality.

I don´t wanna complain too much but I do find it a tad annoying when the British commentators on the DTM coverage seem to assume that all viewers are British and talk an awful lot about their "home" drivers... Don´t know how many countries get the English commentary but it must be a few? On Swedish TV the commentators naturally have a soft spot for Ekström but then again that doesn´t go out on international (inter-European) broadcast... Oh well, I can live with it. Personally, I don´t care what nationality the winning driver is as long as he drives an Audi!

Yeah, good point. Carlton and Cole should maybe take other nationalities on board. On race day, we have many different nationalities on the forum, so maybe they should?
