Hi all... a quickie to start us off for the weekend: It's grey but dry as I write this.... but with rain on the way over the North Sea you can expect the Dutch coast to get a bit wet. At least Zandvoort will have no loose sand dragged onto the track today... Should be entertaining. Drop us a line and we'll do our best to have a chat with you. CK

Count me in! It should be a cracking qualifying session today at a track which rewards brave drivers due to the large amount of high speed corners. As a result i would expect to see the newest cars at the front of the grid with the high speed nature of the track.
Hopefully Jamie can find some speed in qualifying as he has been struggling all weekend and may struggle to make the final section of qualifying. Hopefully Susie will be able to be quickest of the 2004 cars, but i think it will be difficult for any of those cars to beat the newer cars, providing the track stays dry.
My bet for pole will be either Frentzen or Ekstrom and Spengler will be the best of the Mercedes runners.

Looking forward to watching my 2nd DTM qualifying session ever, love the Zandvoort track, it's very challenging in the quick corners. I remember seeing a clip of Dumbreck's accident a couple of seasons ago, that's what can happen when they get it wrong eh?

So Carlton, it's going to rain? Wow, talk about adding excitement!

My bet for pole... Abt or Frentzen, both were quick in practice this morning.

Yes another wet race would be entertaining if it is anything like the Nurburgring! Any rain falling during qualifying would make it a real lottery. Sounds like a day to get a banker lap in early in each session
