Farfus's roll looked spectacular. He just look too much inside kerb and which sent him upside up down. Thankfully, he walked away unscathed.

Alain Menu did a fantastic job, comfortably getting pole. That Chevy is brilliant, they've really improved it. Especially the engine, which was weak before.

Priaulx did great in 6th, despite having the top weight ballest (55 kg). He was also the fastest BMW.

I really enjoyed the session, it was great.

I don't know what happened to Jorg Muller, a lowly 17th. :'(

It was a great session, giving them 45 minutes to qualify really made for a good qualifing.

Agreed, giving them an extra 15 mins is a good idea, and it will be the same for the other two street circuits; Porto and Maccu.

On a street circuit, the extra 15 mins is crucial because many incidents usually happen, meaning many yellow and red flags. Therefore allowing the drivers to more complete more hot laps.

The weight penalties seem to be having a bad effect on the Beemers.

not really priaulx has 55kg's and he's still up towards the front. Similar for Farfus. tbh i don't think there base weight is high enough they need an extra 5 or 10kg's imho.

doesnt look like the 1st race is on live probably cos of MotoGP coverage, and they'll show highlights before race 2 like they did with Valencia.
Unless Menu crashes or has a problem cant see him being beaten in race 1.
Surprised Tielemans was quicker than Thommo (when he did nothing in DTM), guess its the ballast telling on the Alfa.
Hope Andy has a couple of good races, i'm a Priaulx fan even though i hate BMW's

Another mind numbing Monaco type boredom fest.....get away from these blasted street circuits and give us proper race tracks.

I think that was the warm up as they show that usually, cant really see the point in that and then not showing race 1 live, but that's Eurosport and we all know what their scheduling is like!!

Good to see Andy is leading the championship, all he needs now is a win, or is it gonna be like 2005 for him?

I'm sure he wont care how he wins the title as long as he does, although a few wins along the way will help make the job a bit easier.

Did anyone see Farfus's shunt, I think in a practice session before the races, where he rolled his car a number of times. What a accident and the mechanics did well to get his car out to win a race.

Farfus' shunt was shown on SSN, which has to be a first for WTCC, and then they showed brief highlights of the two races. Have to say their pronunciation of Andy Priaulx was entertaining to say the least [lol]

I recorded the 9am show and it was race 1, morning warm up was on eurosport 1 before the motogp coverage.

Yeah, it was Matt.

I was watching the session, and suddenly I see a car upside down! I was like: WOW! He was lucky...
