Farfus got married last Saturday, so BMW Team Germany decided to give him a present:

Good to see WTCC cars again.
Menu had a big shunt in qualifying by going off at the final turn, damaging the rear suspenion and smashing the left rear window. Lets see weather RML can repair the Chevy...
Muller was fastest, Rydell second and Farfus third. Priaulx sadly down in twelth, he didn't have the speed in the practice sessions either. But even then with Priaulx's poor pace its still a Seat 1-2 - Farfus or Jorg failed match them. Its time for BMW to introduce that turbo diesel....
Sergio Hernandez had a spin in the final moments of qualifying, bringing out the yellows - mucking up a number of drivers final flying laps, including Priaulx, Farfus, Jorg Muller, Huff and others. But even if the BMW's had done there final flying laps uninterrupted, I really doubt they would have moved up the grid.

When you're the world champion, it's best to say that it's not a good start
to the season when you get beaten in qualifying by a wriiten off American car
