Interesting that in the post-race interviews Rydell said it's clear that the BMW's are faster, while Farfus said they can't keep up with the Seats.
Should be a great second race. :)

Both car makers are playing a political game there, but I agree with Farfus

Andy should be aiming for a win from 4th on the grid, he did a sterling job to get to 5th from 12th, helped by the Chevy's taking each other out of the race, but also got past a couple of the SEAT TDI's

I dont think anyone can deny from the onboard shots the straightline speed of the SEAT diesels

Good win for Tarquini,Andy unlucky
seems that Seat TDi is going to be hard to beat this season.
sure BMW will get better though as it is just the start of the season.

Shame Porterio held up Priaulx, I know he's a factory driver too but Priaulx would of had nearly all race to try and force a mistake from Tarquini if Porterio let the Briton through - and earn BMW a win and try and make up some ground on Seat in the manufactuers championship rather than having 4 laps.

Great racing yet again, there was an article on Touringcartimes.com saying that BMW will introduce a diesel in Mexico, a diesel with RWD will be a pretty good combination: http://www.touringcartimes.com/news.php?id=1811

Bad weekend for Huff, DNF's for both races.
