Cheers Willy, is that live - very good if it is. :8

Yeah.
Music is OK for someone of my age, sort of Radio 2 stuff, but may not suit you ;)
Bare with it. Good interviews and constant updates.

Yes music isn't exactly to my likening, they should have radio 1 stuff. ;)

But the actual service is superb, consistent live updates with good discusion, I like it a lot.

Where is Chris Meeke at the moment, he was 3rd after SS1.

Big off on SS7. The spectators lifted him back onto the road but he has lost a lot of time.
Mark Higgins in 10th [!!!!] [!!!!] [!!!!]

Cheers Willyj, that's a real shame, I think if that hadn't happened he could have got a poduim. Good to see Mark Higgins in the top 10, he always goes well when he enters WRC rounds

It's a real shame that Eurosport's coverage is rubbish. First they muck up SS1, now they are overunning the first chance to see day 1 highlights with football. ::)

Quote Manfred Stohl
Quote:
"I seldom was that happy to have survived the first day. I had expected Ireland to be leprechaunish but this surpasses everything. We are currently in seventh place but do stand good chances to move up to sixth place. Still, this rally is highly dangerous. If it should rain harder tomorrow everything could be turned upside down."

Manni is an orgiginal he says what he thinks. Hopefully he gets a seat for 08. He is the only one from german speaking countrys.

The Rally is really hard. Tt could end like Zypern a few years ago. Hopefully no more hard crashs and good sport.

Quotes
Mikko Hirvonen - I am driving only a little bit quicker than I would in my road car.

Guy Wilks - I saw the TV coverage last night and it just didn't depict how bad conditions are

Standing water likely to be the problem on this afternoon's stages [eek]

Wow, these stages really do sound like hell - how rallying should be.
