Guys what has happened this week? I've started to watch the show this morning and I've had to turn it off because the voiceover bloke is doing his links via mobile phone?

What has happened? All three shows can't be like this?!!!

i actually tried to watch the rest of the coverage from mexico after i had posted in the  "lessons learned" thread and i have to say what a dissapointment. the bit i couldnt believe was the "lets ride in car for the full 18.8 km with loeb"  oh my god that was boring boring tv and wrc coverage like ive never seen. then they spend loads of time on interviews with ken block and skip over complete stages just show the stage times with no footage or idea of what happened

awful awful awful

if the next 2 shows are no better this weekend i will stop watching on motors. you cant put us through this. fix it or put the show out of its misery and give it back to eurosport.

Oh for gods sake, please can you do a proper job or just hand the contract back to FIA.

What the hell are you playing at having Simon phoning in the commentry, i could barely hear what he was saying. If he cant commit to the production locally, then get someone else in.

So far you haven proven to be ameteurs, i will writing a complaint to the FIA concerning the coverage and i hope you get striped of the contract for 2011.

to highlight how bad this is today i joined this forum especially to post my dissapointment after that ive emailed the commercial rights holder to highlight how bad this is and how poorly you are representing the wrc and i have also now emailed the fia and asked that they look at this coverage themselves as this is so bad it bringing the sport many of us follow and support into disrepute.

motors you should be ashamed

For the first time in my long life I have seriously contemplated turning over to watch some paint dry on another channel.

Looks like you have not taken any thing that was posted after Sweden on board – have you!!

Once again very little outside shots, Commentary unable to hear, and that may have be a good thing

40 minutes cover on the morning stages, a load of rubbish on Ken Block, and then just a few minutes on the afternoon loop.

I like a number of others who have posted comments – Will be passing on my views to the F.I.A.

A very disgruntled viewer

Watching todays show now, did the narrartion of the 1st 5 mins myself, did a good job. Was simon Hill at home on his mobile???? Certainly sounded like it, what i could make out he gave away the result of the 1st 4 stages in ss1, why is that nessacery

With so many stages is on day one why did we get so much of the stage onboard with Loeb??? There are plenty of other drivers you could feature, service park interviews etc

can i just make a point in motors defence, they DO NOT film the stages, that if done by North One TV. Motors just comble together the show, so what onboard and outside shots they do get isnt down to them, if there arnt very many camera's in the stages then unfortunatly we cant see outside shots.

I'm sure you wont post any explainations for any of the points raised as normal on the forum (see v8 supercars + fia gt theads)

IF THIS TREND CONTIUNES PLEASE GIVE UP AND SHOW THE WORLD FEED 30 MIN SHOW WITH PAUL KING'S NARRATION BECAUSE 4 HIGHLIGHTS SHOWS DONE AT IT SHOCKING, NO OTHER WORD FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If anyone wants to hire me for any WRC then please get in touch!! :p

Anyways I'm really disappointed with the show that Motors TV are putting together. As a freelance cameraman editor I wouldn’t even put this footage out – I’d feel ashamed!

I will be attending WRC Portugal this year though!

Truely terrible program this morning (Mexico Day1),

How can you claim to be the home of WRC coverage when your commentry is done down a mobile phone?

The first 5mins didn't have any commentry & then the rest you couldn't hear what he was saying.

You are a disgrace to the WRC community.

I don't mind the onboards, although the camera's in the C4 needs to be moved asap if your going to continue. And they also need a mechanism to keep them still & focused as when you used Petter's incar footage the picture was bouncing all over the place.

It is the first time I have ever switched off a WRC TV program. You need to get yourself sorted out or I hope you loose the rights & someone who will do a proper job pick it up.

I suppose its back to Dave to see watch their 'celebrity' version, at least you can hear paul king & see some outside shots.

We've suffered a massive technical failure this morning, which indeed caused the 1st transmission of the show @ 10.00 AM UK to be voiced via a normal phone-line...

The show has then been revoiced for the repeats, and I'm quite surprised with posts in the afternoon mentionning the sound issue.... Did any of you see the afternoon repeats, and was the sound OK ?

Regards

The show that is going out @ 22:20 does have the correct voice overs so will watch it tomorrow.

Thanks,

David
