Finally this weekend, the WRC returns. To the best rally of them all, the Finnsh Rally. Check out all the goings on here. Loeb will have to try and catch Gronholm. However, the Ford driver has a new 07 spec car underneath him - so it won't be easy.

Renowned as the home of the Yump
This attracts something like 1/2 million spectators.
I am sort of hoping that the up coming Rally Ireland will be held in equally high regard. Roll on November. _________________

The Irish rally will be awesome, they have great roads.

I'll hopefully have a few pics available next week of the Finland rally. 2 of the guys that drive in my racing league are there for the 4 days of the rally.

Got to be a Gronholm win this weekend, surely? I personally reckon he will win the title as well, as Loeb is going to be under pressure to perform if Markus extends his lead this weekend.
However if Loeb somehow beats Gronhom this weekend then I think he will have the momentum that will lead him to yet another title.

Yup, I expect Gronholm to win. He's won the event six times now, he's the master of the Finnish Rally.
If Gronholm does win, Loeb will be under mighty pressure. After Finland, this could lead to yet more mistakes from the Frenchman, allowing Gronholm to extend his championship lead.
Also, don't forget. Ford have introduced there 2007-spec Focus at this rally, meaning Marcus should be even faster...

The OMV Kronos driver Manfred Stohl has crashed out of the rally. He had a roll, on SS13.
