It's a very fast corner, hopefully he can start tomorrow, although re-building the car could be tricky.

Larini had big oversteer at Mandarin, I thought it was going to crash in quali.

And Zanardi had the same in one of his laps. I thought the mirror will fly away . [lol]

Zanardi was actually doing very well at one point, he was about 4th just after that red flag. But of course, the Seats and Chevy's went much quicker after.

Hmm, that was happened to Zanardi before, so hopefully he can stay on track and finish both races...

He did brilliantly, although to be honest they look good on 1 lap, but tend to fade away on long runs. So seeing how those tyres hold up in each 9 lap race will be interesting...

Didnt see quali, but it doesnt look good for Andy only qualifying 12th, that first corner will be a nightmare. Lets hope he can get through that corner to stand any chance of getting in the top 8 for race 1.

Christ, he just has to survive that first corner, after that he just needs to push like hell and overtake many cars, I think Zanardi will let him through - being a fellow BMW works driver....

Well it depends where the accident happens, it actually usually happens around 16th + so he has that on his side I suppose.

Their are a record number of cars 39, so their is bound to be an accident, so lets see...

He's is the best. Nobody thought he would get it but he get it. Priaulx has so much race intelligence. But bad luck for Muller. Without the technical problem he was the champion.
Both races were good without to many crashs. Maybe after the Monza races the race director was very angry and said that he doesn't want to this again.

Its nice to see Andy Priaulx win another title althougth I felt Yvan deserved it just as much. England is a funny place, we complain we don't win anything but we have someone like Andy Priaulx who has won many titles and hardly gets a mention anywhere but the motorsport press. How about Sports Personality of the year for Priaulx or are winners exempt from it?

Priaulx, what can I say?

He drove an astonishing first race, to get 8th, he fought he's way through the field. Then, despite an early challenge from Thompson, Priaulx had a comfortable lead. Honestly, he was just amazing.

Thompson, another fantastic drive, all season he's been been quick in that privately entered Alfa, a simply remarkable achievement considering he beat numerous other drivers driving for factory teams.

What Duckman said in spades. To make this title even more of an achievement is that this year the series was more competitive than ever, and the Seat diesels had a performance advantage due to the regs for diesels being set 10 years ago I think it was said. Worthy winner for the fourth time. :hurray:
