Where now for DTM on British TV?

Setanta is no more.

So two days before the biggest race of the DTM season and we are, I am sure, all left wondering

where we are likely to watch the DTM over here.

Lots of talk on various forums about where it is likely to go.

NOTHING has been confirmed by anyone as yet.

Can't believe we are not going to be able to watch the Norisring race.

Waiting to see what the media office at the ITR has to say about it.

Thats if they want to say anything.

So, MOTORSTV. Back to you is it?

Could really do with knowing something from someone....

point a satellite dish to astra at 19.2°E and watch it on ARD, a free channel.

Hi, Sky TV are covering the Zandfort race live to compensate the loss of Setanta. It appears that Motors TV have dropped all but V8 touring cars of any quality of presentation. The rest when it comes on is low quality highlightes. Where is the money going.

Where is MOTORSTV answers? Why no DTM?

Why couldn't they show highlights of the Nurburgring 24hrs. I'm sure lots of british people would like to watch that.

All they are showing most of the time is motor cross.

Slowly but surely, Motors TV dies. It was the only reason I had Sky at all, then I had to pay for it, then they slowly lost everything worth watching. Now the only thing is week old (pathetic scheduling) V8s. When's Bathurst on this year, 24 hours late?

Get your finger out and get the DTM back for God's sake. I'm over the moon that Satanta are now dead and gone so come on motors, you're absolutely SHIT compared to Eurosport.

Highlights of this weekends race at Zandvoort are being shown on Sky Sports Extra Wednesday 22nd at 8pm. No live coverage though

i don't want highlights , i want full race coverage . Or at least a full replay of the race . Is that too much to ask . SKY has got plenty of channels , surely they can find timm to show the full race even if it isn't live ...

Sunday morning and I am sure I am not the only one looking in on this site in the hope that someone knows where we can watch the race from Zandvoort live in the UK.

Or more to the point that MOTORSTV gets its back.

Think of it. TWO British lads on the front row at Zandvoort on the back of Green's absolutely fantastic win at the Norisring. The best race end I have ever seen (livestream on a certain site) and no one here saw it on TV!

Motorstv. You have an opportunity here to tell your advertisers that you will have the DTM back on your channel with a large contingent of talented and proven race winning British drivers (two out of three races so far....) taking part. Come on. I only got this sky thingy coz of you lot last year. This carries on I won't bother with it anymore.

No, Quatrozero, you're not the only one...I found an online feed and they are showing Polish Speedway instead, so I'm stuck with the DTM radio (German, and I know about three words!) and live timing.

It's SO annoying that no one seems to care about the DTM in England! I just wish SOMEONE would take it up and show us the bloody races!

Autosport is reporting sky has signed a deal to show a highlights package but the negotiations for live coverage remaing ongoing... come on Motors! Throw us a bone!

I managed to watch the race live on a website (www.p2p4u.net/live/pl18.php) the picture is not great but it is better than nothing.

I hope SKY does not show it buying another sports package would be crap. I would not mind if the whole grid was German, but we have great british drivers in the DTM. Looking forward to Brands Hatch this year, we had a great time last year.
