Glad to hear Giovanardi is staying in BTCC. I met him at Silverstone in the paddock after his 3rd place in the 2nd race and he made time for all the people trying to get autographs even though he was trying to get back to the VAuxhall pit.

In the Daily Telegraph, Kevin Garside made the well-received point that even if Mosley had criticised JYS's comedy music hall trousers, at least they remained round his waist, not his ankles...

Yer must agree Giovanardi was one of the most impressive drivers last season and surely he must be a contender for the overall championship as well as he wont have to spend all the time learning the tracks this season. As for the Astra's BTC it wouldn't surprise me at all if some cars are run by a privateer team this year.

according to the bttc website the team is the same, unless it aint been updated of course but it is in the 2007 section

Whats this about them running a vectra hatchback next season?
Nice to see them getting back to running proper touring cars and not these silly bloody super-mini bodys that have been so prominent the last few years!
