Vauxhall had trouble selling the original shipment of Monaro's that were shipped from Austraila, I don't think the current model is flying out of the showrooms either

Yes Monaro sold in small numbers, but Vauxhall also offered many tuning options to purchase, which much of their profit came from.
And Vauxhall didn't have a lot of development to do either, just import it straight from Australia, they have RHD. Then they just had to tune the suspension settings.
