Transorientale - What about the UK Riders

Hi

The show should be called the Ullevalsettar Show as most of the coverage is about him (on the motorbike section at least!)

What about the privateers - especially the UK ones, my husband Colin Askey (motorbike #54) for one!?

Months of planning and tons of our own hard-earned cash have gone into him competing in the rally and there is no comfy bed and shower in a motorhome each night for him - just a one-man tent and a quick scrub whenever he can get it. It would be nice if he could get a little mention especially as he managed to come 9th on stage 5 (until he was penalised for missing a checkpoint)

Colin texted me to say he has finished todays stage (stage and has come 9th again (no penalties this time hopefully)

He also said that a helicopter followed him for about 15 minutes, so, in his words, "you might get a glimpse of me on tv tonight"

A bit of a coincidence - but it would be nice to see him in action!
