Another forum seems to report that that other pan-European sports broadcaster has shelved its plans for live Champ Car coverage in Britain (does not affect mainland Europe).

See here -> http://forum.digitalspy.co.uk/board/sho ... count=5872

Suggest we all call up, or see what Fred can do quickly for those of us in the UK of the other channel aren't interested!

So this is a plea to all of you or to Fred for your help to see live Champ Car in Britain!

The British arm of that "other pan european sports channel" has changed it's schedule late this afternoon.

LIVE coverage begins at 9.30 UK time on Sunday

Sky EPG now says 9-11pm live (which is the correct start time for 4pm EDT), seems that a bit of people power convinced them to change the schedule. :D

Eurospurt are a waste of flamin' time. They have screwed about with Champ Cars for too long. Is it on this weekend or not. Normally they bump it onto Eurosport 2, but it wasn't on the program listings in Autosport.

I hope Jeremy Shaw looses it and flies into a wookie rage with them.

My Sky Guide says Live Champcar Sunday night?
They do tend to mess with the coverage rather too much though, the fia gt coverage of last year was dreadful and as a fan of bike tha lack of friday qualifing annoys me (they repeat the MotoGp friday practice 6 times but no 125 or 250? Since I'm ranting can I mention no full race re-run of the lms sunday. Sorry, this is the wrong place but it's the same rant!

Is the Sky guide wrong then?

And their champ car coverage is stable compared to the WRC, random time slots and almost always after a live event to ensure that sky+ misses it ( you end up recording the next 4 programs just to make sure) and 1/2 an hours program from a whole days motorsport? Do me a favour....
