Thanks Motorstv again for the coverage of race 9 and 10 of the V8 Supercars, that's great coverage of races 7,8,9 and10, lets hope this can continue for the rest of the season.
It's just a shame that it took loads of people complaining about your poor coverage, poor broadcasting and editing of programmes to get the people in charge to take notice.
Please keep showing these races in full and whatever you do , do not go back to the poor standards that got everyone complaining about in the first place!!!!!
I am now much happier watching the V8 Supercars.

Agree 100% with jap, everything about the coverage is much improved, there are no lap gaps whatsoever. I recorded the races on my DVD recorder and we get full uninterrupted coverage once I deleted all the adverts out (that's a better deal than what even the Aussies themselves get).
Roll on the live coverage of Bathurst!

dcr22B ....... do you or anyone else know the dates and times for the Bathurst race ,
how many people will be watching it live , i know i will , maybe then these forums might actually have something good yo write about.
i have really enjoyed watching the V8 Supercars battling it out at Bathurst .
when will Codemasters start putting the V8 Supercars, the DTM and the BTCC back into their Race Driver series as i am getting fed up with the Americanisation of the GRID game , apart from the better graphics and damage i think Rcae Driver3 is better than GRID , i really hate that annoying tosser in GRID who tells you " you're in first place " as you come upto a corner .I know i'm in first place i'm not a f**king moron .
All you're doing is making me lose concentration and crash , why do we need this crap in a game ,it's like listening to James Allen comentating on F1 on ITV , it's pathetic .

Having been at Bathurst while on my honeymoon last year, I'll definitely be staying up to watch it
The race itself takes place on Sunday 11th October and it starts at 10.30am local time (should equate to either a 12.30am or 1.30am start UK time depending on daylight saving time).

Thanks dcr22B for the info , yet again it's going to be another allnighter ,
I still haven't managed to stay up and watch a complete Bathurst race yet , i normally fall asleep towards the end of the race , thankyou SKY+ for letting me record the end of the race and watch it later that day.
It's one of the few races in the world that i would like to go and watch live , along with Lemans .
Have to do it at sometime in the future.

Totally agree with you about Grid, it sucks. Been playing and loving the TOCA/RD games since the first one, all great, all except Grid. Dirt was far better.
Thank God it's the full Aussie coverage, the less input from Motors the better. Remember when there was no sound for a couple of races and that guy with the intensely boring voice did the commentating? Aaaaaargh, i nearly slit my own throat listening to that! the aussie commentators are half the fun

needtocontrol how can anyone forget that day. I think it was the day i joined these forums , as it was far more interesting seeing how many different insults he got , that guy had no idea how to commentate ,
Talk about how to turn an exciting V8 supercar race into the most boringly dull unwatchable tv programme i have ever seen .
The problem with GRID is that it has to cater for the American market now , seems like what started as BTCC race sim, now doesn't have anything to do with what made it such a great game in the first place .
Similar comparison to how Motorstv has gone.
