Just noticed a lack of reports or any comments on the Super GT series.
I thought I'd try and put that right.
I have been watching this series for xxxxxx years, on various channels either videoing it at 3 am in the early years on what ever channel it used to be on, then hard-driving it on these modern thingys at what ever time Motors wants to put it on.
There has been some golden moments already this year, but the Sugo 300 {just watched, catching up} was superb, and thanks Motors for screening this series.
Moments like the GT500 series positions 1,2 & 3 going over the line mid race next to each other, with less than 6 foot from first bonnet to 3rd bonnet at 180 mph, was stunning.
And such a varied field as well with the GT300 being lead by the Impreza at one stage, again not to be out done the GT300 field did a 3 cars all abrest across the line for 1,2 & 3 mid race.
May I recomend , next time you have a 2 hour gap, try watching one of these races, stuff like the Ford GT was the first Ford GT to be raced anywhere, yes even before the GT3 series.
The golden days of when the Mac's were running in them, being out dragged by Supras etc down the straights were stunning as well.
I love my GT cars, and usualy put them before any other makes, so I am a little biased, but give it a go, and again thanks to Motors for the coverage, long may it continue.
