A real shame I think, it just shows F1 is becoming more and more of a motor manufactures sport.

Has David Richards still got some input in PRODRIVE?

It won't make anything easier for Prodrive, as the FIA already accepted them in this years championship back in 2006. Prodrive's problems were lack of resources and money.

Of course, Richards is a very hands on guy for a Chairman.

I think what Chris might have been suggesting is that Richards could go to Suzuki and say "Hey Aguri, fancy selling us yer team mate?", rebrand it as Prodrive and be there on the starting grid in Australia.

David is going to have to get on with it, though... not many weeks left...

That is a pretty good idea an ideal situation for richards, not to forget that Aguri will have to be a constructor within the next two years which you would think would give Richards enough time to build the facilities.
But For Aguri they have to look at a big sponsor from anywhere, Honda have already said that they will definatley not fund them, so its a ticking bomb really.

Well it seems that the options are there according to Autosport, and actually Honda have thrown them a bone to help them out, but suzuki didnt accept it. But it sounds like there are potential investors there, but obviously talks are on going, hopefully something will be resolved, as they were a teams begining to show alot of promise!

Well reading the latest on this situation on Autosport, its seems that Suzuki and Honda have both had a number of deals come their way, but they seem to be continually denying them!
True we dont know what the deals are like but if they keep on refusing anyone has an intrest they will have no investment at all.....it looks if they do fold it will be their own doing!
