Hi all,
I'm new here and I've been looking for SCSA on Motors TV but can't find any info. Is it televised?

Sorry, SCSA is not being televised this season.
Things have gone a little pear shaped in the SCSA camp this season.
Rockingham dropped the series, only to be taken up by the drivers themselves.
Hence no TV this season.

So what's Rockingham doing now actually. I don't think they have much more than three or four races in a year now. BTCC should come back though.

There is a meeting this weekend of SCSA and Pickups plus the British GT are racing there at Rockingham this weekend too.
If it is wet though SCSA will not go out.
I have to say there is only 10 SCSA cars on the grid though. GT's have 29 cars I believe racing.
Here is the website link to SCSA

Dang! I wish they would promote it more and build a couple more tracks. We could have a shorter (bad weather) but more intense season. Talking to people around and about there is quite a lot of interest but it's not promoted or advertised enough.
Humph walks off in a sulk...........

Get all these interested person to the Rock, that the only way to get the interest and TV back for SCSA.
We need bigger crowds and more cars with sponsors.
SCSA won't survive otherwise, and I know it may not due to the developers who want to build the houses the other side of the track fences.
Let's hope it survives.

Well, by all accounts the British GT's on the new track were brilliant. The drivers and crews unanimously gave the facilities a big vote of confidence. So this is good!
Thebig thing though is that the new track doesnt use the turn 1 chicane which is the main reason British F3 dont go there. According to some sources, theres an F3 test there coming up soon, and if that goes well, they could be back next year. In which case, i'd expect to see them team up with British GT and go hell for leather for a weekend, along with there own support series, rather than tagging onto the thunder sunday meetings which, to be fair, arnt exactly top level motorsport (though the trucks this year have been superb!)
Next time out though is ovalfest. Short track racing along the front straight and the big classes round the oval. Should be a very big crowd and a brilliant day. Need to decide what i want to do that weekend really. If that all goes well, expect a bump up in crowds at rockingham and perhaps we may see some of the tv packages and such coming back for next season.

My boy is Elliott Sadler now to be driving the #19 oohhhh those eyes yes I'm a girly, well, was some years ago
The man/pal that introduced me to NASCAR last year is a #48 & #24 fan but I don't hold it against him.......... I kinda like smoke too cause you just don't know what he's gonna do next.
I'm hoping to see a live race next year and even more hopefully in Bristol TN. Having got my interest I decided to find a driver to cheer on. Reading the profiles I picke Elliott cause he was from Bristol and I'm from Bristol UK.............then when I saw him and heard him speak..........hubba hubba pass the candy......laughing out loud
