it sounds like they've replaced the right kink at turn one, but i might be reading that wrong.

Yep they've altered the first corner to reduce the amount of pile-ups that occur there at the start of the races. Should be the acid-test this weekend I feel [lol]

i don't know if it was intended to be a bike track but it does have a 24 hour bike race.

They not only changed the first turn, the pit exit seems to be altered as well. Some screencaps of todays quali session:

Was watching quali yesterday and thought the first turn was quite ridiculous. I will be here today during the race, that will be the first time since 2004. [eek]

it's an improvement from the overtaking potential but not by much.

Lots of overshooting i reckon, if there is room on the outside to do that before the gravel
