I'm going to stick my neck out here. I don't think that collision was Abt's fault. I noticed the Mercedes in front of that pack wandering all over the track (i think it was Green). His actions may have caused those behind to lift off momentarily, and those behind didn't have time to react.
I don't think Abt should have got a penalty, it was a racing accident.

Why not colin Mcrae to the DTM!?!

Shame about the accidents, but at least the fears about the Pit Exit proved unfounded...

Another action packed DTM race has finished and Schneider surely has the title wrapped up about now. As for the first lap accident it doesn't surprise me that Abt was involved and his feud with Hakkinen keeps on going. It was disappointing to see Jamie wiped out in that first lap crash but his wait for a win continues and more and more people will get on his back the longer this goes on. It seems that Susie lacked the pace all weekend at a track where she had some experience and may of had the chance of a top-10 if the car was up to it. Hopefully she will get a 2006 car at least next season and if this is the case then she will be up at the sharp end more often.
