I have been involved in race car prep and motorsport for the last 3 years. I'm in the process of setting up a Suzuki Swift Sport Cup in the UK (circuit racing) to run along side the Nippon Challenge with the view to having an independent series in the not too distant future. Regs will be finalised in the next two weeks and some price info will be released. Regs will be tight to make it about the driver not the budget.

We are trying to test the water and see if people would be interested in this sort of motorsport in the uk as similar series are run in Australia, New Zealand and in Europe...

We have so far set up sponsorship deals to help drivers with entry fees and free tyres... We will be offering race ready cars and self build options..

Oh this is this years Nippon Challenge Race Calender for 2011 so I suspect 2012 will be similar:

1st May 2011 : Brands Hatch (Indy)
25th May 2011 : Snetterton
30th May 2011 : Castle Combe
22nd/23rd July 2011 : Brands Hatch (Grand Prix)
21st August 2011 : Rockingham
18th September 2011 : Mallory Park
16th October 2011 onington Park

It usually consists of Practice and two races...
