I dont know if this has been a thread before but I know Porsche are helping the Penske effort in ALMS but it got me thinking when will we see them over in Europe battling the the likes of audi and pug?

Porsche with a LM-prototype 2 in europe?
As long as the ACO doesn ´t change their regulations, there will be no Porsche works LMP2 in the LMS or at LeMans.
btw is the expression works Porsche, or factory Porsche the right one in english? I ´ve read them both already!!!!!

i think a works team would be porsche team, with porsche mechanics. I think the current porsche teams are factory backed. ie penske arn't porsche but they have porsche mechanics.

but there isn't a distinction between works and factory in english (that i known of)

Let ´s end this english lesson [!!!!]
A works-team if the Zuffenhausen Boys are fighting under the banner of Porsche (LeMans 1998 911 GT1).
Otherwise the team is factory backed (Penske, Flying Lizard...)
I think I got that now ;)
