Saw that the French Motors site already had a phpBB forum since May, didn't knew that. I'm pretty sure you will see me here a lot.
Oh well, back to the subject. I see that next week Motors is gonna broadcast the Michigan ARCA race, instead of the Pocono race. So my question, are we still gonna get to see that race? And will it be the original commentary again?
The old forum disappeared before we got a reply as to why the Milwaukee race was ruined by a studio voice-over drowning out the race commentary.
I do hope it's fully understood that American racing needs its original, informed and entertaining American commentary. It would be a shame to waste any more of the excellent Speed channel coverage Motors are currently treating us to.
Dear Fred, Can we have an explanation for the Milwaukee debacle of the voice over commentary. One thing we do know is that the "Milwaukee Mile" is a mile in length, we were told so every 5 minutes. Do not like the new style of forums, too complicated, too many options, I do not wish to produce a work of art, just a pertinent comment or two.
On the ARCA thing, it may have been ok (but not much!) if the commentator wasn't just repeating what he was hearing on the dimmed US-feed anyway....what's the point of paying someone just to repeat what we could hear anyway.... :
I have to agree with everyone else, if it was just the voice over, then MotorsTV might have gotten away with it, but being able to hear the original commentary even if a little muffled in the background was just distracting
