The loss of ALMS "LIVE" is no real loss. Radio Le Mans commentators yacking over the top of track side interviews, music(?) played when a fan wants to hear engines and tyres. The standard exhibited by the Production team is laughable.
I wanted to watch Petit Le Mans, and recorded it to the box, so I could skip the adverts, and was shocked to see how little of the race I got. Add to that rubbish production, I agree, not worth the subscription.
I "upped" my Virgin Media package to get Motors TV, because, back in 2000 when I had it on Sky at my previous house, it was a French channel, it had innovative programming, it had a wide diversity of subjects covered. The silly show we get now for RC Racing is pathetic. We used to get RC PowerBoats and RC Aircraft. Even the massive show from Paris, with everything to do with RC.
Now it is just repeats, repeats, repeats. Now it is just repeats, repeats, repeats. Now it is just repeats, repeats, repeats. OOOOPPPPS, sorry, have I said that already? No, what I meant to say is, "Now it is just repeats, repeats, repeats".
They got lazy, why is this? Lazy subscribers not prepared to lose the teeny, tiny little bit of ORIGINAL programming, while waiting for the CONSTANT repetitions to pass.
Why did "Rear View Mirror" only get shown the once, and not repeated every day of the week? THAT was worth watching.
Personally I think the "Digital Revolution" is one big con-trick. Still I suppose it is now the worlds largest re-cycler. Suppose that is some achievement? Maybe?
"Now it is just repeats, repeats, repeats".
