Difficult to tell, but I wouldn't expect Martyn Bell to still be in third by the end of race 1! I'd be quite happy if he was though.

Mike Jordan did well again in race one, and this wasn't fixed by the reverse grid draw, good race Mike

It's a sad fact that whenever the "independant" cars end up mixing it with the big boys either the driver gets plain scared off the road or the manufacturer drivers bully them out of the way
(Remember the Lexus on pole at Brands last year....big meanies)

I'm not saying that is what happened here by any means, it's just a shame that when the big crashes happen they seem to happen to the teams with the least budget :(

I hope that BMW is in tip-top shape come Oulton

Martyn Bell was on Tintop Tuesday on Globecast radio last night. He said it was suprising how little damage there was and that the BMW is a very straong car. The team had it all fixed up for the next race, other than some of the cosmetic damage. It'll be back to 100% for Thruxton. Plus he hopes to have a sequential gearbox fitted by then too.
