Glad to hear someone actually say what it is really like all i ever see on here is people saying it so hard to get in and out of the track but never from anyone that actually goes to the track only people that watch on the telly then just make comments on the place.

Hi had a great day yesterday, no problems getting in, was well signposted from the M6 as well. Parked up at Knickerbrook entrance, was watched on the run down from the hill to the chicane, could also see across to Cascades as well.
The rain certainly livened up the racing, especially for the SEAT race, and meant the safety car was busy. Our summer shelter/ tent type thing was also useful in keeping us dry, quite a few passers by commented on that as well!!
We stayed until the end, especially as the F Renault race was the last one and wanted to see how Jordan Oakes. who we met with some Eurotek personnel in Darlington last month, got on. He didnt have a great day finishing 11th.
Wandered over to the paddock after the racing to go say hi to the Eurotek guys, who were busy taking the awnings down and packing away, bumped into Mr Plato who was chatting away to someone, and left the circuit at about 7.30pm, had no real problems getting out, traffic lights were busy though.
Stopped at KFC on the M6 on way home, quite a few of the various teams personnel had the same idea BTC Racing, Fortec and just before we left a couple of the Eurotek guys. Got back to the g/f's place in Lincoln just after 11pm and watched the ITV coverage of the days' BTCC races, then bed, it was a long day!
Will put some photos up later in the week.

Were your shelters sort of a halftent seized shelter next another similar one? There was 3 of ya iirc
If so this is going to be well spooky as i was sat right behind you up until just before the 3rd toca race when we moved over to the other side of knickerbrook . Fiona parked her MG right in front of us..
If it wasnt you then dont worry about it...lol

I see Giovanardi has got an extra point for a jouint fastest lap and now leads the championship by 1 point

Jason will be pleased to lose the 9kg ballast difference for quali though, the SEAT's havent exactly done well at Donington for the last couple of years, so its up to Giovanardi to make hay whilst the sun shines.

Well it has happened before!!! Last year wasnt too bad, although a nice shower in the 3rd race meant we had quite a few cars in the gravel at the Old Hairpin.

I had a good day. Took about 15 mins to get in off the A49, (the traffic lights probably did that though).
It wasn't too packed and you could see a-okay until some chimp wandered infront of you with a umbrella the size of a Volkswagan Beetle roof (dipshits).
Got Fabrizios autograph almost straight away in the autograph session. Also got a few more.
Watch race 1 from knickerbrook, race 2 from someother place in the infield, then watch race 3 from the start-finish (which amazed me because of the small fence which stood between the grid and the spectators, a car could easily flip over it, or a nutcase run onto the track). Got a good view of why Mat Jackson won the race as I was stood infront of him as he catapulted off the line. Also got a good view of the pit girls and Louise Goodman.
Great day.
