I was watching Speed TV the other day and was watching the practise and qualifying. Well as Speed doesn't show the races, but the practise and quali, why doesn't motors do the same . Because i can't image the price would be a lot for the practise and qualifying and people would watch them i think (I would), and it would fill up some of Motors TV schedule on fridays and saturday afternoon.

It seems a great idea

Must agree, some of the MotoGP qualifying sessions last season were awesome and even the MotoGP test session on Sunday on Eurosport was exciting with Rossi going quickest on the final lap of the session.

Because it's boring, single car lapping rubbish (qualy anyway) the time differences wouldn't be pleasant for the French commentators who don't like working late and anyway, why would Motors TV show practice and qualy for a series they're not actually showing the races for? :

FOX actually owns SPEED over there so that explains why it makes sense for them, but Motors don't want to show a practice and say "Oh, go tune into our rivals NASN for the race now please, bye!" do they?

Coz SPEED is the home of NASCAR. Anyway, it's a bad idea for various reasons. For instance Motors won't broadcast a quali session late Friday night and quali is only interesting if you broadcast it before the race. A rerun on Monday would ruin it.
