Aww..c'mon guys, we all know the drill by now....commentators don't want to work late night so we're denied live BUSCH racing from Daytona

This sucks to be honest....the Daytona races are special ones indeed and deserve late night late showage!

The one time Motors showed live Pepsi whatever the distace Busch racing in...2004 was sticks in my memory as it was one of the best races in ages with an incredible finish...I'd love to be able to see another one like that, live and in full!

If it's because the French half of Motors will be without sound because their commentators don't want to work then I duely announce that I will forfeit the right to hear English commentary from FOX too, after all, it's only fair if both halves didn't get commentary eh?
So long as you leave the engine noise on we can work out what's going on from the graphics/tickers etc

See how desperate I am to see this race? I'm sacraficing stuff here...

To be honest I expected such a huge number of posts that Motors TV's decision would be forced by forum popularity.....oh well lol

If only I could write some sort of bot like are swarming the forum, only instead of spamming with porn links, it demanded live Busch racing from Daytona instead! The suits would never know!

Why would you expect more of an outcry. We all know motors will not show it, and it is not worth wasting our finger tips, moaning. We know we only get a few live races, and Daytona is not one of them.

but going by this thread its true though but yeah its a dam shame we don't get to see this live, I think the excuse is rather pathetic, I'd like to know the real reason because i'm sure people wouldn't mind missing out on a bit of commentry.

Paul, I learned my lesson. Last time I was the one shouting the hardest and in the end they only showed it in the UK coz the French commentators didn't want to stay up. I was happy for you guys though.

But now I'm gonna get ready for watching the Busch race on FOX.

You are aware we have free trackpass, you could watch it on there. Besides, i think it may have something to do with the time of the race. Im pretty certain that the 2004 race (where carnage ensued on the last lap) finished at around 12:30/1AM , whereas today its just starting. That may be one reason why they've opted to show it on monday!
