Decided to write this as I have yet to see an announcement about what MotorsTV will be broadcasting this year. Maybe Mr. Viger has already posted it on the French forum but I don't visit it as I don't speak the language.
As far as I know Motors will be broadcasting all ALMS races live this year. Last year the announcers told us that they would broadcast the ALMS stream instead of the SPEED stream and put Hindy and the Radio Le Mans crew as commentary (as it was back in 2004). Then I've also seen the Adelaide coverage of the V8 Supercars in your programming. So I guess that just like 2008 you will once again continue to broadcast every round on a delayed basis. So that's two series but what about the rest.
During the Rolex 24 on Eurosport Mark Cole and Carlton Kirby announced that LMS would be live for every round and the entire lenght of the race, spread over Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2. As these two were the commentators of LMS last year on Motors I guess that Motors has lost the rights to show it.
The other series that seems to have disappeared is DTM. Apparently Mercedes payed a bucket load of money to get it onto Sky in the UK. This means that now you can't show DTM in both the UK and German. So I'm wondering if its gonna stay on MotorsTV International (as I call the French version). For me it doesn't matter if it goes because I have ARD. But it would be a shame to miss out on the Euroseries. So maybe somebody can let us know if that series is also gone. Its always fun to see the future F1 champions battle it out. Talking about those, I assume that British F3 also continues their highlight program on Motors. Besides the live races on Motors that's the only other program I follow.
With apparently losing LMS and DTM the Sunday's of course need some live racing. Now last year Mr. Viger told us that they would probably get FIA GT on International too. It was already being shown in the UK. Any updates on that? I don't follow the series but it could possibly become interesting when the new FIA GT World Championship launches in 2010 and with Ford and Nissan already announcing programs for 2009 it could be a rather bright future.
So that would mean live ALMS and FIA GT and delayed V8's. Don't want to sound too negative but that's not a lot. Hopefully Motors has something for us in store which it has yet to announce who knows.

I guess I shall update this myself then. Motors put the PDF schedules online today and I guess its official now that LMS will not return to MotorsTV this year. However what Carlton Kirby said on Eurosport is also not happening. Looking at their TV program it seems they are only broadcasting the first hour, like last year.
What's even more disappointing is that both St. Pete and Long Beach are not live. They will be broadcast in a highlight format. Really disappointing as MotorsTV announced last year they would be using the direct ALMS feed with Hindy as commentary and show the full season live. Whatever happend to that promise?
I do see British F3 returns and I'm very pleased with that. Should be a really competitive season.

I'm giving Motors a couple of more weeks to get better, if they don't it's bye bye after 4 years of subscribtion. The only thing left worth watching is ALMS and they turned that into a bloody radioshow! Other than that it's dirt this and dirt that 24/7.
Well I'm having none of it and I even registred to let you know. ;-)

There'd be no Porsche Supercup on as the races had only been run that afternoon, just poor scheduling by Motors TV.

I thought the Porsche supercup is shown on Eurosport?
I see that MotorsTV is showing the Silverstone Classic again this year, great news as it was the best thing on this channel last year, shame that i found out about it on another motorsport forum, can MotorsTV please tell us what live programs you are going to show, that way you can make us enthusiastic and a little more happy with your channel. If you dont tell us what your showing no one will know resulting in very poor viewing figures, sorry to put this post in a patronising way, thank you

Dutch Powerpack is on your website listings but not on the actual Sky planner??? Didn't bother setting up the DVD recorder so I'm assuming it's either not on or I'm going to miss it???

Midge25 - don't you get the annoying emails every few days saying how wonderful MotorsTV are and what useless programmes they've got coming up? Wish they'd stop sending them to me!

There is an 'unsubscribe' method at the bottom of the On Pole messages.
