Trying to compare the biggest motor race in the world to a two bit touring car championship in the UK!

When will you realise that the Le Mans coverage was huge last year along with the BTCC racing live! It has nothing to do with teh race being in France and everything to do with no one watching BTCC!

two bit???

which weekend would you rather watch?

-24 hour race in which the start is always single file and audi (not exactly a french car company) always win

- 3 half-hour races in which at least 10 different drivers could win, but also about 5 or 6 other kinds of racing thrown in.

i enjoy the tradition that is le mans but i know which one has more action.

They managed both this year, they can manage both next year. BTCC got the chop because they decided we all want more live endurance races, we don't.

but i'm guess they are getting money from peoguet to show lms live (and I do want lms live) and as they won't be from btcc it's the right business decision. It's not great for btcc fans and the loss of the support races is a shame (more than the touring cars itself imo) but thats how 2007 will be. until britian starts paying for stuff (rather than selling off everything for a quick buck).

hmmm went a bit of topic, what btcc really need is 2 british manufacters (like aussie v:8 to really get big enough to get the kind of coverage you want. that'll never happen.

Yeaa but what happens when they stop bankrolling? They'll only do that for as long as they're in LMS and we all know how long most manufactures tend to stick around.
