MOTORS TV LIVE FROM PAU
-
Good afternoon race fans, and welcome to Motors TV UK's coverage of the Formula 3 Euroseries from the French city of Pau, where we are showing yesterday's Race 1 delayed at 14.00h UK, and then we go LIVE for Race 2 at 16.00h.
-
Carlton Kirby and Mark Cole will bring you all the action as the F3 young guns fight not only each other, but the most demanding track of all the Euroseries schedule: the walls and barriers of the Monaco of the Pyrenees.
-
Finn Mika Maki and Italian Eduardo Mortara come here as joint leaders of the championship after the first two rounds at Hockenheim and Mugello, but this is a whole new ballgame as virtually none of them know this tight street circuit. It was raining in qualifying, it was wet for Race 1, and this morning it was still wet, so we could be in for a repeat of last weekend's Monaco GP.
-
Only three rounds of the Euroseries have been held here - in 2003 Ryan Briscoe won it, in 2004 it was Jamie Green, and in 2005 it was Lewis Hamilton. All three went on to win the title, so look for one of today's winners as the possible 2008 champion. But first they have to beat the circuit...
-
The forum is up and running - post your comments and we'll mention them when we can.

My goodness, sounds like mayhem in Pau apparently.
Mayhem at Croft, UK with torrential rain.
Mayhem everywhere in motorsport land... will the F3 Euroseries continue this theme?
We shall see!

NO I don't mean we want to see his accident. But we do want to see the race despite knowing how it ended.

How long have you guys been commentators for?
Me and My dad reckon you should be F1 commentators
you speak with more enthusiasm.
My old man loves it!
Why are the breaks so long long between DTM weekends?
You guys are legendary!
Love the metions!

Martin was up to 8th from 25th, an amazing move up the field. Mrs W. had a call on Saturday afternoon and after reassuring us he was OK he described what happened. It's a shame because the car looked to ge going well, he said it felt good under him. I'm hoping for a good result this afternoon.

Some guys are driving like real idiots. It's already so narrow on the streets, and still they have to push their rivals to the guardrails, resulting in the 3 car crash we just saw..
