MOTORS TV LIVE FROM SILVERSTONE
Good morning sportscar fans, from a beautiful, sunny Silverstone as the warm-up gets underway for this afternoon's fifth and penultimate race of the 2007 Le Mans Series.
Motors TV will be bringing you all the action live from 11.45 UK time, following delayed coverage of Race 2 of the Peugeot 207 Spider Cup at 11.15.
I will be joined by John Hindhaugh for that, and then drivers David Leslie and Liz Halliday will be with us for the BRDC British Empire Trophy 1000 Kms right through until 18.00h this evening.
Peugeot - as always - is on pole, but the star turn of the the weekend has been by British LMP2 drivers Tom Kimber-Smith and Danny Watts, who start from the second row of the 46-car grid after hustling their LMP2 LNT Zytek around the British Grand Prix circuit for fourth fastest, ahead of all but the two LMP1 Peugeot diesels and the LMP1 Charouz Lola.
There is incredibly tight competition in GT1 and GT2 too, with Team Modena's Antonio Garcia putting his Aston Martin DBR9 on GT pole ahead of the championship-leading Oreca Saleen, and in GT2 where Britain's Robin Bell has the Virgo Ferrari on pole for the second time this season.
Join us for Silverstone live on Motors TV, and post your comments here - we'll try to give you a mention if there is a break in what promises to be hard, hot action at the last European race of the series.

That Oreca Saleen was very quick at Spa. This is shaping up to be a great GT1 battle. I'll be with you at 11.45

Have a good race.
This is just what we need to whet our appetites for our trip to take in the final two ALMS races.

Hello everyone!
It's certainly quieter around here with some of the others at the track.
There looks to be quite a few good battles going on today, just a pity the Peugeots are disappearing into the distance as usual!

Personaly I dont think its only the on track action keeping people quiet. The tragic news last night has something to do with it. Lets just hope we have a good clean race today.

Was tempted to go myself but finances dictated otherwise.
Good afternoon Chocmonster.

Its OK today. Scrambled eggs came good just as they waved the cars away on the warm up lap. Timed to perfection and I'm a bloke. Surprised myself.
