I've seen fittings done in the pits on a Friday morning half an hour before a practice session begins! As mikeward says the stuff they use sets very quickly and then is just hacksawed down to fit the rest of the seat.

yes if they are full time tema drivers they prolly do but they was doing a one off so they prolly done a couple of test and that is it. the seating fitting process only takes about 5-10 mins per driver as it takes that long for the stuff to set so it can be trimmed to a more suitable size.

I understand what you are saying but Antonio Garcia who drives for the team in British GT driving the Lamborghini Murcielago and then with the Aston Martin DBR9 at Le Mans and in the LMS..

I would say he is a FULL TIME driver WOULDN'T YOU?...

Looks like a nice day there, shame the crowd's a bit small. Still I managed to forget the Nürburgring round - just up the road from here and woke up to a grey day here for Spa (not much further) and assumed it must be pouring down in the Ardennes and didn't go!!!!!! Not my year for getting it right. Incidentally, just flicked onto ITV to see lots of people paying lots of money to watch..... something, but not in any way motor racing. It's a sad world.

There was actually a decent crowd but people were walking around the circuit, hardly anyone went in the grandstands.

When Audi arrive next year, the RS Spyders and ambitious plans from Creation, Embassy etc. the crowds will grow.

Nothings confirmed but I'd be VERY suprised if there weren't at least two R10's (Joest) and at least one customer 908, as Peugeot are looking to sell cars.

Audi would have been at Silverstone but didn't have time to get a car up and running. Now the ALMS program has beded in they'll have spare chassis for the LMS.

Plus we'll have two RS Spyders, Creation will run new AIM backed chassis/engines which should push them to the head of the field, a few teams will likely run Lola coupe's such as Charouz, and of course Oreca-Courage.

Looks like the series will step up a gear next season.
