MOTORS LIVE AT THE 'RING
We're ready to go racing at the Nurburgring for Round 8 of the DTM, where for the third successive race Audi has locked out the front three grid positions. It was the front five at both Mugello and Zandvoort, but this time Bruno Spengler put in a spoiler for Mercedes to make the second row.
It's Martyn Tomczyk on pole as he bids against teammate Mattias Ekstrom for the 2007 title with just three races remaining - Eki is back in 10th, so he has a mountain to climb live here on Motors TV at the later time of 13.45 UK.
Join Carlton Kirby and Mark Cole for the best touring car racing on the planet, but first we will be presenting the two Formula 3 Euro Series races from the 'Ring, where they are today using the 3.6 km short circuit. Get a feel for the track from 09.30h UK and tell us your thoughts here on the DTM forum.

Good morning Mark Cole.
It's an Audi 1-2-3! Merc will have a big job this afternoon to even get on the poduim.
However, remember what happened in Mugello?
The big surprise for me, is Susie Stoddart got P13 on the grid. A super effort by her.
I reckon Ekstrom will stage a big fight back, I predict he will finish in the top 5...
Looking foward to the Euro F3 too, 'the Hulk' got a fantastic result yesterday. He's surly the next Schumacher?
It's interesting to note that VW are back in F3, supplying engines. I expect Mercedes to still dominate though, while VW get up to speed.
It's good for the series though, having such a major car maker involved.

Merc will dominate even after VW are up to speed
Anyway, Spengler was fastest in today's warm up ahead of Tomczyk, Kristensen and Schneider.
Susie was 13th again
If she doesn't get mixed up in a first corner collision, she has every chance of finishing in the points.

Good morning chaps! Enjoying your coverage as always and looking forward to the second live F3 race.
Hopefully the DTM will spare us the awful team orders shenanigans we saw at Zandvoort...
A plug for the websites would be nice!

Buemi's obviously doing this and GP2 at the moment - does anyone know which he's going to do when the F3s are at Nogaro and the GP2 finale is at Valencia on the last weekend in September?
One would assume he's going to do F3, as he's in the title battle there.

I reckon Buemi will do the Euro F3, as Mark Cole says.
He's locked into a very important championship battle, where's he's not in GP2.
Buemi knows how a GP2 car feels now, so it's not essential for him to do the GP2 at Valencia.
Next year, Buemi can fight for the GP2 title...

Morning all
I'm still not convinced about the Hulk - seems a bit inconsistent. Now we'll see if he can race as opposed to lead.

Loving the English maritime history lesson
Very good drive by Schlegelmilch but hats off to the entire top four - they raced hard but fair. Felipe Massa take note...

Great job by the Milkshake. Grosjean (big breeks?) did all he needed, he was ahead of his championship rivals. Oh -and thanks for the history lesson about the Dutch.

What happened to the podium? Could they not find Latvian anthem or flag?
