More real sound

Hi people at Motors TV

I'm quite happy with the channel, though as others in this forum I miss HD.

Anyway that is not my main issue.

SOUND! You would think producers behind a channel like Motors TV would understand the passion any and all motor sports enthusiast has for the total experience of motor sports. And attending a real life motor sport event the sound is a super important part of the experience. So why is it, that almost all motor-sound is muffled to almost nothing on Motors TV? I know it can be difficult to record in a satisfying quality, but at least let us get some track volume in between the constant chitter-chatter of the commentators.

It must be possible for commentators in for instance drag racing to shut up during the 4-10 seconds race and let the viewer enjoy the glorious sound of the engines.

Come on guys. We want sound! It is half the experience!

You are dead right about the sound, it's most amateurish, in drag racing it's half the excitement!

I WATCHED 2 PROGS ON THE OZZIE V8s. THE COMMENTATORS USED TO SHUT UP EVERY 10 MINUTES OR SO, WHILE WE ENJOYED THE EXPERIENCE OF IN-CAR CAMERA AND THE FULL SOUND. NOT BEYOND THE EUROPEANS IS IT?

and not only do the channel seven lads give so peace to hear the cars, when crompo and skaife have something to say is worth it. aussie`s do the best racing coverage.
