Right, I thought I'd get this thread started off. Let's hope it's a great race.

Can Hamilton get his first win? Can Alonso bounce back? Can Massa continue his brilliant form? Can Kimi get one over on Massa? Can the BMW's keep up with the Ferrari's and Mclaren's? Lot's of un-answered questions....

Here are the Thursday free practice 1 times:

2. Lewis Hamilton Britain McLaren-Mercedes 1:17.601
3. Nick Heidfeld Germany BMW Sauber 1:17.616

The red-bulls could be a dark horse this weekend. DC got that podium last year, Webber always goes well in Monaco (was running third and fastest car on track before the engine let go in 06) and with Adrian Newey designing the cars, they are going to be quick on a high downforce track.

Webber for the podium!

Yep, I agree. The Red Rulls could really pull something special out here.
With Mark Webber 6th in the first session, suggests that they are fast. Come Practice 2,3 and qualifying, I'm sure DC will up their too.

Practice 2 (above).

Hamilton miscued his braking into Ste Devote and punched into the barriers, causing significant damage to the front of his car during the second practice session.

I'm not worried, it's his first major mistake really, after all, he is human.

Ralf and a major crash, Trulli was probably on fresh tyres and light fuel to acheive that lap time.

Indeed. Do you remember when he had a big smash in Qaulifying in 2005? This crash is very similar.
