He is learning, he is blindingly quick at time, and I think he would have pipped Alonso for the pole if they had been on similar fuel and without traffic.

Give him a year and I think he will pull ahead of Alonso and destroy him. I like Alonso and I think he is the best (bar Schumacher) of the 94-07 era. But Hamilton is another future legend in my opinion.

Hamilton turns a car with his rear wheels at times, it is glorious to watch. Only a few people can make a modern F1 car dance like he does.

I agree, watching Hamilton is awesome. He looks irratic to some, but really he's just enjoying himself, while going very fast.

I'm going off Alonso, I feel that me may of demanded all the attention on him, and leave him with the best possible chance of winning, it's unfair. Hamilton has proven himself, so Hamilton deserves an equal fuel load to Alonso and equal everything to Alonso, including pushing for pole.

He always gets out the car with a bloody big smile on his face.

Alonso recently looks like he has been kicked in the nuts. He sometimes looks like he isn't enjoying himself.

Thats probably Lewis heaping the pressure on him. The first rule is to be ahead of your team mate.

I think the guy is great, Matt must think so also, he has changed his picky.

Alonso doesn't really like having a compeitive teamate. You can clearly see that, he knows that Hamilton is his biggest threat at the moment.

Last year Alonso didn't mind Michael Schumacher, because he was in a different team. In the same way that Massa or Kimi don't really bother him this year.

But because Lewis (his main compeitor) is in the same team, he doesn't like it one bit.

Matt865 supports Mclaren (as you can see from his signature). So he must like Hamilton.

At the end of the day, no-one wants to be being beaten by their team-mate, do they? It is a sure fire way to guaranteeing that you are out of a job at the end of the season normally! It is no surprise that Alonso is being put under pressure by Hamilton, and I'm sure Alonso is certainly feeling some of that pressure, its only natural. But at the end of the day his job is to win races and he has to do what he needs to do to do this. Should be a great battle for the rest of the season.
