I must say I do like a good pitlane scuffle, if not good morally it does make for good TV, debate and forum flaming!!!!

Matt's failed overtaking move 1 was entirely his own fault, as he was always going to be hung out to dry on the exit.
The attempt at Russell, though, was down the inside and cleanly done. It was Matt's corner, the only question was whether he would make it or overshoot. Jason's tagging the back end of the Honda, in effect stopping Matt's abillity to turn in, was petty really.
It should have been a fantastic race end. I didn't feel quit like that when it all panned out.
Still, worked out nicely for Colin...!

I didnt lose respect for him because he couldnt drive, I lost respect because he became a whiner!
Everytime someone so much as taps his car, he whines like a little child about it being unfair, yet when he does the same its "a racing incident".
I'm sure a lot of us remember the glory days of the BTCC when trading paintwork was just part of the spectacle, and not something all the drivers cried about!
In this particular incident, Neal cries again that Plato has been unsporting and unfair, but quite frankly, he was more to blame for both incidents. Did he really expect Jason to just back off & let him through?
This is racing, not the Ferrari F1 team!
Amen to that! I used to support Neal too, when he was driving the red Nissan Primera, but recently he's been a whinging fool - and he does drive stupidly at times.

As said on TV , will Matt regret that move in race 2 at the end of the season when the points from P2 may be needed?
Good racing this afternoon, I enjoyed it.

they both can drive perfectly well else they would not be in the championship, its just that they need to cool it abit and be a little more proffesional. this goes more to Neil though. Reminds me of the TKM kart class (for anyone who knows lol)

Finally some common sense on the forum....
If anyone else had watched the end of the NASCAR race last night you'd have suffered a strange a sense of Deja Vu that I did...
What I respect most about it is that Matt COULD have backed off and settled for second, but that wasn't in his armory as he went for the win, that shows true racers spirit, well done Matt, shame it didn't work for you.
If he was in F1 he wouldn't settle for this lame waiting for the pitstops to pass idea, he'd do his business on the track!
