LIVE FROM THE NORISRING

-

Good morning DTM fans, and welcome to Nuremberg for today's 5th round of the DTM - the best touring car racing on the planet, live here on Motors TV. Carlton Kirby and Mark Cole will be bringing you all the action as it happens.

-

Following Paul di Resta's maiden win at the Lausitzring, all eyes will be on the 21-year-old Scotsman to see if he can repeat it on the city streets around the saluting podiums of the 1930s Nuremberg rallies. He starts today on Row 2, behind his Mercedes teammates Bruno Spengler and Jamie Green, but both Mercedes and Audi start on equal weight, so it will be a level playing field for the 'Monaco of Germany'.

-

Best of those Audis is championship leader Timo Scheider in 4th place after qualifying, with his teammates Martin Tomczyk and Tom Kristensen on Row 3 - Tom coming here off the back of his 8th Le Mans 24 Hours victory two weeks ago.

-

The Norisring has always been about street-fighting, and the rough-and-tumble starts at 12.45 UK time.

-

But before that, Motors TV wil be bringing you yesterday's Formula 3 Euroseries race at 08.45, then we go live for Race 2 at 09.45, so tune in and get the feel for the DTM's premier weekend, all here on Motors TV. Tell us what you think, and we'll mention your posts when we can.

-

MARK COLE

Who do you predict for the top 3?

Can you run an F3 Euroseries Forum?

Hey guys, I'm still alive. However without internet since May, but I have some sort of mobile phone internet for now. Looking forward to an exciting race day. Especially the two F3 races will be a lot of fun.

What do you guys think of Mika Maki and him crashing a Nissan 350Z in Finland while street racing. Should they revoke his racing license? I know a lot of drivers like to put the pedal to the metal, on and off the street. But when you put innocent lifes in danger you should be punished. I rather see his seat go to someone who has talent and knows his limits.

For the DTM I hope to see another Mercedes win, it took them a couple of races but now they seem to up there again with Audi.

I think Mika Maki should be banned for a couple of races instead of

his licence taken away for the rest of the series.

Dominant from Nico H. - he is really showing why he was the pre-season favourite. As long as he keeps on taking poles, he will win this championship as he can just drive away at the front.

You guys are mean to Basil... he's not a bad driver. You have to be pretty good to drive F3 and A1GP cars...

Why has Dani Clos confused us by switching to a black and orange car?
