LIVE FROM LE MANS

Rain for the warm-up, rain for the F3 Euroseries race -  and rain for the DTM feature? Motors TV is live from Le Mans this afternoon, starting at 12.55h UK, for the 10th and penultimate round of the world's top touring car series.

Carlton Kirby and Mark Cole will be bringing you all the action as Audi's Tom "Mr Le Mans" Kristensen starts from his seventh DTM career pole, ahead of English Mercedes driver Jamie Green, Audi's Mattias Ekstrom and Scottish Mercedes racer Paul di Resta.

This could be a deciding race in the 2008 championship, with seven points separating di Resta and Audi's championship leader Timo Scheider, who starts fifth today. A win for Timo would see him crowned champion at Le Mans if Paul does not finish 2nd, but these two have been evenly-matched all season, so hopefully it will go down to the wire at Hockenheim in three weeks' time.

Is it still possible for Green or  di Resta to win the

championship if it is possible can you tell me

what they have have to do.

Is it still raining down there,wouldnt it be something

if we had all 3 brits on the poudium!!:)

Hopefully Paffett isnt racing under appeal!

Hi guys! Checking in early & looking forward to another great day's racing....Tom on pole eh?? Well at least that lessens his chances of punting anyone up the back at the first corner!!! I understand he's a teensy bit handy around this track...although this race MIGHT be a bit short for him!! Let's hope for another good solid race from di Resta & Green to close up that championship battle...a non finish for Scheider would help THAT scenario a lot & if the Euro F3 races were anything to go by then the carnage today could be immense!!!

No disrepect to the DTM but Paul really needs to move on next year. Hes a great talent. Maybe Dario can open a door for him at Penske next year if Castroneves gets banged up for tax evasion.
