LIVE FROM HOCKENHEIM
Hi everybody, just a reminder that not only it is the DTM finale live from Hockenheim on Motors TV on Sunday, but also the final rounds of the F3 Euroseries which Carlton and I will be bringing you starting at 09.30h UK.
Race 1 will be delayed from Saturday with the title still to be decided between France's Romain Grosjean and Austrian wunderkind Sebastien Buemi.
Race 2 follows live at 10.30. As always, it's a good chance to get a feel for the track and atmosphere before the big one at 12.45. See you there!

Great stuff Mark Cole.
The Euro F3 champion has been decided this morning, but I won't spoil it for those who don't know...
Looking forward to the F3, and DTM - a championship showdown between 3 drivers!

Mathematically, it was impossible for Buemi to secure the title today.
Which leaves...
...but I won't spoil it either.
As for DTM, the quali was pretty bad. Spengler went a bit too wide on his first lap in Q3, otherwise he would have been up there.

Morning Mark and Carlton,
Looking foward to the Euro F3 today, should be great racing.
But the DTM finale should be epic later on today. It's Christian Abt's last race, so we can expect fireworks!
Plus an exciting championship battle to be decided...
I just want to see fair racing today, with no politics like Spain please!

I'm going to miss it
Got to drive down to Exeter for 3pm... at least if it was F1 I could listen to it on the radio...
Damn!

Morning all
I think Grosjeans title is well deserved - most consistent of the top runners. Buemi's title bid may have been distracted by running a half season in GP2, and the odd F1 test day. Maybe Red Bull could be criticized for shuffling drivers - I think it definitely hurt Buemi who had a relatively poor time in GP2

Hi Mark & Carlton and everyone watching DTM/Euro F3 today,
Just asking if you could give a huge UK motorsport stars kart race a mention today during your show? There are people from DTM and Euro F3 (and every other category under the sun too) making up a total grid of 35 racing in proper racing karts to raise a lot of money for Cancer Research UK. The event is called "The Race Against Cancer" and you can see more info at http://www.theraceagainstcancer.co.uk - thanks!
Fingers crossed for a great day of racing anyway and hopefully it won't turn into bumper cars in the DTM.

Anyone know why Mika Häkkinen has such a poor grid position ?
(except from driving too slow..... )
And any information on whats the prospect for our all time favourite Susie Stoddart next year ?

It was the penalty he got from Barcelona, where he alegedly collided Tomczyk whilst trying to take the lead and it resulted in a fine and a 10 grid position penalty, IMO it was just a racing incedent!

Thanks, I should have picked that up.
Even though I'm a Häkkinen fan, I must say it's a well deserved penalty. Poor judgement from Mika in Spain. (we have all been there, aye ? )

I admit it was a bit of a lunge, but Hakkinen had the nose of the car alongside Tomczyk to make a move, and then when Tomczyk turned in collected Hak it was kind of 50 - 50 in my eyes, Tomczyk surley would have seen Hak though! The move was definatley on though.

Well exactly Scuedria,
The stewards like to blame Hakkinen for that move, but Martin Tomczk surly must have seen the Finn in his mirors.
If Tomczk was clever, he would have moved out of the way, let Hakkinen go straight on and resume the lead!

The Hulk is a legend! And role on next year for him im sure he will be dominating!
Buemi will hopefully be able to focus more on A1gp now, depending on Jani. But i feel Buemi has kind of been over worked as such this year!
