See ya next year Carlton and Mark.

I am off to the Race of Champions in Dec where I hope Ekky DOESN'T win this time out.

As for going to DTM races, I have been to Donny twice, and I must get to Brands in 2008 (before they can it).

Firstly, well done to Mattias Esktrom - a great champion! cool :first: [bravo] [winningcup] [mrgreen]

It was a truly epic race from Hockenheim today. Green was mega today, I had bad mouthed him so much and then he pulls of this amazing victory.

His race craft was superb, his switch back moves at the "Spitz" were awesome, he had great overall pace and was consistent.

I don't quite think he will be champion in the future, but he's improved hugely compared to last year.

For clarification on the Kristensen penalty, I think it was because he barged Bernd Schieder out of the way at the entrance to the parbolica.

I've immensely enjoyed this seaon's DTM season, it's been thrilling racing at every circuit.

Great job Carlton and Mark, you are both superb commentators. See you next year! cool :D

Yep must echo the sentiments on Ekstrom becoming champion as he has been top class this season and somewhere back to his best after one or two years in the shadows. Commiserations to Spengler who gave his all in the last few races of the season but the damage was already done and he done well to finish as close as he did imo.

Big congrats to Jamie on another win, I'm sure this one will feel a whole lot better than the first one as he showed he can win with everyone still running. What is it they say about Buses? Hopefully Jamie can carry on this form into next year and who knows perhaps he could mount a title bid as a result.

Thanks for another great season MotorsTV, Carlton, Mark and all and I look forward to another great year in 2008.

I managed to catch up with the replay last night. Top man Jamie Green, stamped his authority on that race.
Driver of the day for me Bruno Spengler. He never gave up.

Watched the race earlier today, well done to Mattias Ekstrom. Was a great race, and Jaime Green impressed again, and at least this time he beat Audi's as well as Mercs, Like Sav, i've not exactly supported him and have been critical of him, its good to see him actually live up to the promise that has been expected.
It was good to see Bruno trying so hard, especially as he kept encountering Audi mobile chicanes, a few less of those and he might have beat Eki.
Roll on next year, and i'll make the journey to Brands again i hope.

Well yes Mr Green yet again delivered the goods, just like Bareclona.

He got a great start, banging in great laps consistenly and pulled off some truly great moves, the one on Eki was my favourite!

Spengler never gave up, I like that. A few more laps and we would have seen a head to head battle for the title! [eek]

Can't wait for next year! :D

Just got round to watching the race at last, and what a cracking way to end the season and such a valiant effort from Bruno i couldnt believe how hard he thought back!
Stunning drive from Green as well, he is starting to step up and raise his game now so it seem, but i feel it will all be to little next season whe Di resta gets a new car (now thats an exciting prospect!)

Great drive from Ekstrom kept it carm and consistent through out the race and not a mistake!

Thanks for a cracking season on motors TV (my first) Carlton and Mark will definatley be here to stay :D

Green did the business, his race craft was superb, finally he has shown ehat he's really made of. A bit like Spengler in that respect, only a year later.
