PROBLEM FOR MOTORS - AND AUDI

Once again, apologies to everyone for the broadcast problems on Saturday night, which were beyond the control of both Motors TV and Speed, down to sateliite problems emanating from Washington.

Hopefully normal - and full - service will be resumed at Road Atlanta's Petit Le Mans on October 4th, from which we plan to cover most of the 10 hour ALMS enduro.

There was a sting in the tail for Audi after the Detroit race, when Marcel Fassler's R10 TDI was found to be 2.5 kilos underweight after a nose-change prior to the race.

He and Emanuele Pirro were disqualified, leaving Audi with two non-finishes, although it did confirm Lucas Luhr and Marco Werner's LMP1 title, as the Audi duo cannot now be beaten. When was the last time there was no Audi on the finjishing list? Answers on £10 note please...
