LIVE AT SILVERSTONE

Good morning sportscar fans, and welcome to a foggy Silverstone for Motors TV's live coverage of the Le Mans Series finale, where Peugeot and Audi go head-to-head for the last time in Europe this year as they fight out the 2008 title.

We're live and on-site, and I'm joined today in the commentary box by Chris Parsons, Chris Hartley and Guy Smith to bring you the action during the Autosport 1000 Kms, although with so much motorsport on today, we will be switching between Silverstone, the FIA GT at Brno and World MX from Faenza. European viewrs will continue to see Silverstone when Motors TV UK throws to the FIA GT.

We go live at 11am UK time, and we'll have this Forum up and running, so tell us your thoughts and we'll endeavour to mention you when we can, although hopefully the action across the four Le Mans classes will be frantic enough to keep you on the edge of your seats.

Peugeot's Marc Gene and Nic Minassian come here as LMP1 points leaders, but only just - Audi's Mike Rockenfeller and Alex Premat are just 2 behind, so the Peugeot duo must avoid any repeat of yesterday's qualifying dramas. LMP2 has already been decided, but champion Jos Verstappen will still be driving as hard as ever - go to Becketts to see for yourself!

In GT1 it is Alphand Corvette against  Modena Aston Martin for the title, but Peter Kox has put Lamborghini on pole for the first time outside Japan. And last, but not least, Britain's Rob Bell is defending his 2007 GT2 title with Virgo Ferrari against the Porsche hordes, drafting in 2008 LM 24 Hours winner Jaime Melo to help his cause.

Let's go racing!

MARK COLE

LOL, nothing like a bit of a panic between producers & commentators to get the day off to a good start.

Not too happy about all the switching around but at least we will get to see some of the race.

Didn´t the same car spin on the warm up lap at Nurburgring?

Great job for Verstappen, getting pole after he aquaplaned off big time on Friday.

Yes, Nicolas was too busy with the other Pug that he didn´t notice the Audi on the outside. Then he pushed up and drove into McNish.
