Why was DTM on the Indy when the Classic Festival a couple of weeks back (where I froze to death - am I bitter? DO I SOUND BITTER??!?! ;)) was on the GP Circuit...

Sounds rather "back to front" to me... I appreciate they can only do so many races a year on the GP circuit because of the local estates close by, but surely DTM would have warranted one of the slots?

Glad you mentioned that, cos I was a little disappointed with the race at Brands. I went to my first DTM race at Hockenheim last October and the cars are awesome. They really need a much bigger track than Brands Indy circuit.

Why not Silverstone or back to Donny, anyone know ?

Just my humble opinion though :D

Don't know, maybe Jonathan Palmer was the one who made the effort to get DTM back here.
I think they'd be great at Rockingham on the same circuit the BTCC use, or Cadwell Park, that would be cloud cuckoo land, but the cars would be fantastic round there!!!!

Cadwell's really narrow and twisty for those big cars. If a DTM car was to crest the Mountain they'd probably land somewhere near Lincoln city centre :)

Totally agree with Rockingham though, that would be ideal !

Shame about Brands, it looked like they were't able to stretch the cars... like an F1 car on a kart track.
