I think Lewis is an awesome driver.
My personal highlight of his short (but successful) F1 career is when he made the Ferrari drivers look like rookies in Malaysia, overtaking them both at the first corners - brilliant. Kimi clearly wasn't awake, and Hamilton went down the inside, and then Felipe just didn't see Hamilton coming around the outside. Personally, he proved his worth at that precise moment.
Massa then attemped to get past Hamilton in Malaysia, Hamilton decided to trick him into braking too late; it worked beautifully, massa went off, and Hamilton turned into turn 4 like normal, classic moment. He's a true racer, he's someone we can be proud of....
...Unlike Jenson Button, who is driving around in an un-competitive car which looks like a vegetable patch. Forget him, enter Hamilton
Hamilton is fast, dedicated, smooth, and most of all; a great racer.

you all talking like he only just got in a race car anyone that is at the standard to race at F1 level is a very good driver (even the ones at the back of the grid) and he will have been racing since he was 8 most likely so it no suprise he is doing well.

they are all very good drivers, but one or two of them don't preform to the same level as they could (Kovalinen) and scott speed won't be in f1 if they could have got bourdais.
Hamilton is very good and is a racer which is the best thing.

Defo think that Hamilton will be World Champion soon, but I think this year could be too soon for him, but he has plenty of time ahead of him. In regards to Jenson, I feel he is going to end up like another Martin Brundle or Johhny Herbert, both very good drivers on their day, but not having the car to challenge for the title.

i'm not sure button is as good as brundle or herbert tbh. In lower formula button was a real prospect but for some reason he's never really carried it forward or just made the wrond decision about where to drive.

Well I've followed Hamilton's career ever since the F3 Euro Series, and from that point onwards, I knew what he was about. His dominating year in GP2 just confirmed that.
So therefore I knew about Lewis's extraordinary talent long before he came to F1.

Same here Sav.
If he wins the championship this season that will be awesome but if he dont that dont matter, he's got 10-15 years + in the sport so no rush

Yep, I agree Matt. I just hope people don't start judging him if he doesn't win the title this year. I'm certain he'll win a race, he loves Monaco...
