Whilst I appreiciate, there are many who enjoy watching 24 hrs straight television coverage of an event such as Le Mans. For others of us, who are not so keen on that form of Motor sport, last weekend was a complete turn off. I may have watched 5 minutes towards the end, to see who was winning, and that was all.

The only thing though that I really wish to criticise is not your coverage, because I understand there are two camps here, but your poll, there is no way of saying. I do not like Le Mans, it is all one sided. Instead of

52 hrs live isn't enough
Greatest TV experience ever!
Who needs the World Cup!

You should have had a button choice, I did not watch Motors all weekend!

That would be somewhat more representative.

Yes more US action :D
I think that because MotorsTV is european it will show more action from europe :(
We used to get NASCAR here for free but when NASN got the rights you had to pay a sub (MotorsTV is free here on a SKY sub) but Satana sports took over NASN & put up the prices :( *I'm not paying* we only get highlights some times on the free to air channels of NASCAR but we get ChampCar & IRL on SKY :D
The Le Mans 24hr's is racing at it's best i love it & it's only once a year, i wish we could have the Daytona 24hr's live for 24Hr's aswell!

it's funny over here some of us want more of what motors tv offers and we're sick of all the nascar coverage and as i'm looking around it seems some of you want more nascar! maybe speed channel and mortors tv should team up and offer each others channels as a second one.

Sara you make a good point.

However, FWIW I think that Le Mans is special and Motors TV took a brave decision to show the whole thing live and for me I think they have broken new ground. Unprecedented coverage, the commentators were excellent. Their knowledge and enthusiasm was fantastic. The race was historic both in terms of distance travelled and to see a diesel win for the first time.... spot on.

I agree that if Le Mans is not your thing, it would be easy to be miffed at a lack of other coverage, but for that one week-end... I hope they do the same next year. Just excellent.

Cheers!
