Just been reading an article in the May Evo Mag about Koenigsegg designing a GT1 around the CCXR it will be called the CCGT and will be ready for the 2009 Le Mans race. It as a 5 litre V8 and produces 600 bph and weights little more than 1000kg watch out Aston and Corvette

Under current rules, the minimum weight for a GT1 is 1125 kg, so there will be no weight advantage. But with "only" 5 liters it will get a bigger (less restricting) restrictor than the 6L Aston and the 7L Corvette - providing they are still racing GT1 in 2009.

That will be good to see a different make in the GT1 class. I hope they have more luck than lamborghini
