Oh dear, more spying stuff.
The Honda F1 Racing team have been caught with confidential BMW documents. According the FIA, Honda engineer ate a Mars bar, apprentley he copied the idea from a BMW engineer on Thursday 19th July at 3:02 pm. A Honda engineer ate a Mars bar at 3:03 pm, proving the Honda engineer copied the Honda engineer.
BMW team principal Mario Theissen commented: "This is unacceptable behaviour. Honda directly copied our engineers eating habits, therefore we deem this as spying and using our confidential information. We like Mars Bars, so what? Why do Honda have to copy us, shouldn't they be eating a vegetable patch? Our Mars Bar secret is extremely confidential, so we had no choice but to contact the FIA"
Honda decided not to comment.
Honda will have to face chages of copying BMW's idea to eat a Mars Bar in Paris on December 15th 2007. It was also found out that the whole Honda squad now regulary eat Mars Bar to gain performance on the track.
Honda broke the article 15b from the FIA rules which state: "if you see an engineer eating something, in no way are you allowed to copy this act".

I thought you'd like it Scuderia!
Knowing F1, it probably will happen.
Blimey, better not a Mars Bar anymore, the FIA might fine me!

Well, good thinking by Honda, to nick BMW's idea of eating Mars Bars. It must boost staff moral, making them work harder. The FIA can't peanilse against this, surly not?

Maybe perhaps they did then, I mean they gained extra rest, being they weren't as tired. Also, more play means more working hours - automatic advantage. :

This dates back to when Honda tried to produce a successful BAR of their own, they were researching Mars Incorporateds 'Mars bar'. Despite concerns of the teams drivers, Honda management insisted it was the correct avenue for the team to follow. More cynical critics believe that this research was not carried out to improve the performence of the car, but to attract sponsership from other sweet manufacturers with two possible new brands, the 'Jenson chocolate Buttons' and the 'Rubens Bar Of Chocolate.

I think they should just group F1 into classes, like in Le Mans...
There'll be the Ferrari-derivatives, the McLaren derivatives, the hybrids etc. etc.
If you're found to have spied on a team then you automatically get entry to that team's class... if you've not spied on anybody you get into the premier class, the "Cars that are not derived from anything else"... ideally these cars will have 8 wheels, fans on the back and other idiotic ideas to prove that they haven't gained any advantage from anything any other team did (or might be planning to do) at any time in the past, present or future... Technical Directors with guide dogs and white sticks are encouraged in the premier class.
