Poor Susie.
But it was the best she could do, and she is a consistant driver, so the race result will hopefully be better, cuz for her it usually is.
Anyway, Biela has be penalised, so she starts from 18th.

As for Mika, congratulations old friend!
Good job by Bruno and Jamie also. Bernd was unlucky for going on the grass or something, and his car was damaged and he couldn't improve anymore, but I was very happy with his pace in the first session, so he has also been quick.

And good job by Paffett too, being the best Mercedes driver with a year-old car.

Now all I need to do is pray for Mika and Bruno to survive the first corner without losing their positions.

Very true dave, I'm puzzled.

I coudn't be happier for Mika Hakkinen, a great performance. This year clearly isn't Bernd Schneider's year, a disappointing tenth from the five-times DTM champion.

Good to see Hakkinen back on top at last, it's about time he managed to get himself on pole in the DTM. Obviously looks like Bernd is struggling with the new car and it is difficult to see him winning the title this year. I'd like to know what they put in Rockenfeller's car, must be rocket fuel I think.

I don't think Susie could have done much better in qualifying considering her times in practice but I always think you are better off at either the front or the back of the field to avoid any pile-ups and it should be fun into turn 1 at the start tomorrow. If Susie manages to avoid the melee at turn 1 then I'm sure she will be able to post a good result in the race.

Bernd Schneider has a long way to go to the championchip...
Susie is a bit too far behind, in comparison to DiResta and Caroll.
Vanina as terrible as ever.
Marco Werner on position 17 and Frank Biela starts from the end of the grid. No chance for the replacement drivers

I don't understand why Audi was so keen on keeping Ickx. Her seet was fix for months, and she's about 0.5 seconds off of Susie's time.
